Reaching Into A Void

Rain all night and day led to misty conditions over the lake, something which doesn't happen all that often. Even when I went out, it began to drizzle again. Still, an opportunity not to be missed, as the white backdrop created new possibilities.

The windswept tree bent over by years of buffeting from the prevailing wind, seems to reach out into the blankness, trying to find its way.
