Life from city to village

Work

One of the privileges of being a key worker is that I get to leave the house every day. It was bitterly cold when I got up - and snowing as I left the house, but when I arrived in the car park at work, it was dry - but there was an impressive storm brewing, as in the photo. This is some of our staff accommodation. We do have excellent staff accommodation here.
Most of my day was taken up with staff. I had a couple of key meetings early on. This is a very stressful time on everyone.
I had been hoping to call into the ward in the morning, but it ended up being mid afternoon. They were still quiet, although the numbers here are creeping up steadily.

Today's good news:
I had tickets booked for Book of Mormon in April - the show has been rescheduled for next year, and my tickets will be transferred, so I still get to go.
There were less deaths than yesterday nationally, for the second day in a row.
I got home to find my daughter had cooked my tea (tuna and pasta salad).
