Still waters

A busy sun filled day. Himself and I managed a hike to Payne's Ford, our local bit of bush. It's a popular climbing spot too but just the odd jogger and dog walker today. The river wends it's way close by,  still and colourful.
In the afternoon it was paddling pool pandemonium! Nothing like a bit of water to keep one amused.
The moon is just rising and Venus is shining brightly as we made our way home to the Birds Nest after supper. Early night, grandies' daycare tomorrow.
