Snow-Dump
It did not stop snowing ALL day. What's the equivalent for 'pouring' or 'cats and dogs' in snow-terms? Big, huge flakes they were. I honestly thought that we were turning the corner into Spring after warm and sunny days last week (when I didn't wear a coat to work) but it seems this country can drop 20 degrees overnight! All the trees were showing the strain under the heavy blanket of snow but they looked so pretty against the even heavier grey skies.
So today was busy - moved out of the hotel and into a flat. No lift or lighting in the stairwell, so it makes for a very tricky ascent with shopping in the dark as I've just discovered! Fortunately there was a willing and strong man in work who carried all my luggage up while I was at work, so I've spent this evening unpacking and making the flat my own. The fact I'm blipping means that I've picked up (an intermittent) wi-fi signal - although it's just disappeared again, so maybe I won't be able to blip after all...
Anyway - this Blip is for the blister. Poor thing was made redundant from her IT job today. Hope you find something soon Phil, chin up...x
