To the slopes.....

Wow! It snowed last night, properly this time.

I went to Oldham last night to see Jeremy Hardy and almost got stranded. If it hasn't been for the 4x4 we would have been.

So tennis was cancelled (for the second time in a week) and we got the sledge out instead and headed for the golf course where there is a really great hill that has loads of runs off it.

When it comes to sledging, O knows no fear and I am just plain stupid which, combined, has led to some great fun but also a broken nose and a couple of cracked ribs (all mine!).

Unfortunately, in the final minutes of our downhill extravaganza I hit a bunker and took a blow to the ribs that has left me unable to bend forwards without much pain and groaning. I may have failed to recognise my own limitations again!
