lucky man

So ... here we are; blip 2000.  Who'd have thought it.  Anniemay was my first blip and here she is again, 6 years on.

I'm a lucky man; I have my dog (my plastic pal), my guitar (not plastic) and my best gal (who is most definitely not plastic) by my side.  Just right for someone who grew up on a diet of Saturday morning cowboy films.  

I'm a lucky man because I have somewhere warm to live, I was on the winning side at Cancer's Last Stand - and can still make music with some really talented friends.

My good pal (and fellow blipper) Porkybrown wrote a lovely song called Lucky Man for his best gal, Deborah.  You can hear it here  Do have a listen.
