Bathtime

It was a chilly walk around the village today with plenty of chats with people, all keeping a safe distance apart. There was plenty of duck action on the moat - as well as the swans on their nest I saw a mallard and coot pair nesting.

It always amuses me how the five half Indian runner/half mallard ducks always go around together. This afternoon they were all bathing together then they all got out of the water and shook themselves dry before waddling off in a bunch. So sweet!
