Hearts for Heroes

Tom and I went for a walk this morning and alongside the trail I found this heart-shaped Aspen leaf.....tattered and battered from spending the winter under snow, followed by winds and rain. I imagine many of our essential workers are feeling much the same. Having spent all 44 years of my career as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting, my heart especially goes out to the health care workers who are always on the front line when there is a health crises: nurses, doctors, nursing assistants, secretaries, transporters, cleaning personnel, lab techs, cooks, security guards, etc.
A huge THANK YOU to them all, as well as to all the other essential people out there who are keeping us safe, fed, warm, garbage free, receiving our mail and pkgs., & supplied with power so we can stay connected. You are the light in the darkness.  Stay safe.  :))
