What's the Scoop?
Posting this a day late...
Our wonderful township road crew lined up their trucks and digger by 10:00 a.m. and worked for nearly six hours on our short street. Every time there's a flood, they come out the next morning and get to work. They scooped up wayward gravel and railroad ties, dredged culvert ditches and the creek that overflowed, and filled the roadside trenches created by the running storm water with broken asphalt bits. For a small semi-rural township, they really are amazing. A thank you note was sent.
The orange sticks? They mark the driveways in case we get more snow. Which may happen here clear up until May 31.
Thanks for your visits, etc. Appreciated!
