Shape Of Things To Come

Getting used to the work at home thing. Loving the fact that I can finally sort all the school CAD files out and learn more about Solidworks in the process. The torch shown here is a Yr8 project with 3D printed and laser cut components. A few minor tweeks were made to improve the 5+ year old design. The Yr8 students don't get to use Solidworks themselves as this is something the Yr9's do due to the pupils numbers/pc numbers and the technicality of the software. But is more of a demonstration tool showing the advantages of 3D modelling as shown in the laptop, where all the individual components can be assembled on-screen.
