Titanic

Strange seeing a popular tourist building such as the titanic building closed, it isn’t just a museum with memorabilia of the shipyard, home of Titanic but it’s also a venue for weddings, conference centre, restaurant, cafe, souvenir shop, Segway facilities and open tour, multi story car park. Outside is a pub, more tourist facilities and Titanic hotel, all closed! Very sad to see it so quiet but the up side it’s now a perfect place for our daily walk, massive open space behind titanic on the slipways which is the actual original slipway were towns was built and it’s perfect open space o for my son to kick his football about. There’s then a lovely walk to the lighthouse, again apart from the odd jogger or cyclist I think 2 couples passed out walking their dog. All of a sudden the sound of the ships in the docks loading up storage units, is so loud, containers arriving with food deliveries and it echos across the harbour. We are lucky to live so close by as it’s a lovely walk with a view of the lough and the mountains. Hope you are all having a nice day
