I saw the pictures that a friend had posted of the deer in Richmond Park today. Inspired by her, I made a trip to Bradgate Park to try & come up with my own deer image. I saw two Red Deer stags after the ranger told me where to find them but they were a little too far away to get a shot that I was completely happy with.
So, after sliding on the icy paths by the water I ventured up to Old John as I wanted to use the views to take a shot for January to see how the seasons change the view after seeing an article about a photographer that had done this. It was perishing cold up there, the wind was bitter and I was worried about slipping over on the way down but gladly I made it back to the warmth of the car unscathed.
