Ship to shore!

No fooling on this traditional day of pranks. This landlocked “ship” is the former Leith Nautical College now part of the Edinburgh College Milton Road campus. It is currently closed as is the adjacent Best Western hotel and almost everywhere else across the world. The cancellation of Edinburgh’s August Festivals today is a further massive setback to the Scottish economy. It is hard to see how things are going to recover easily from all of this.
