My husband had said yesterday that he was going to have to go into the office today as there was something he couldn't get off his computer at home.   As I came to this morning I heard him say that he'd remembered that he could get this information another way and was therefore not going in after all ..... he would have been the only person there anyway, not appealing!  This kind of scuppered my plans for the day.  Was hoping to do my online dance and have some uninterrupted phone calls with my friends however that was not to be.  Instead, he spent the whole morning, unwashed and in his pjs on the phone in his study.  By the time he had finished what he was doing urgently, it was past lunch time.  Little Ro baked an apple crumble using the apples from the freezer and then we went to our local Cook to collect our frozen order.  I buy things for two people and then try to stretch to 3, possibly 4 depending on what the girls are wanting to do!  Good job I don't eat much .....  I have frozen chicken and chicken mince in the freezer but this requires some fresh veg to cook it with and this seems to be the most difficult to come by, that and eggs.  Walked Little B this afternoon and although the sun was scarce, the temperature was pleasant.  I took my camera this time although the fallen tree that I wanted to photograph had been moved and partially chopped up.
