Bloomin'

I didn't go out for my approved exercise today, somehow I'm feeling even more the importance of staying home and avoiding the outside world. I tried to phone the hospital where my sister is but the lines are very busy. I suppose with no visiting allowed, everyone is phoning to get updates on their loved ones. A bit later I had a message from my niece to say her mum (my sister) had texted her to say she was going to be OK. 

So, cautious optimism is the watchword!

Marian bought a couple of new orchids a few weeks ago. I think this one's rather lovely so I decided it would be my blip today. The background is the splashback in the kitchen and I thought it would complement the blooms. It was a devil to get the colour looking right after processing. I think I've got it now though.
