Red ? Breast ?

A new (and surprisingly late) addition to my self isolating bird list. Also today - a mallard flying over.

I watched a wildlife artist on-line today, explaining that wildlife artists had to be good at observing.detail.

Give most people the outline of a robin and they tend to place the red (which isn’t really red) in the wrong place. Observe, and it’s around the eyes down to the upper chest.

I may be observing and noting a lot of detail over coming months.
