Whoops a daisy

Went on our usual walk this morning to the quarry but decided to investigate a couple of different paths. Pretty overgrown but the floor was covered with emerging cowslips and little white violets. Today’s blip for Wild flowers Week.
 


After lunch we went into the garden to potter, planted some Bearded Iris and Lilies we saved from last year.

Missing our late walk, it was such a lovely evening.

Mr P C informed me that on the this day in 1970 (50 years ago) he past his driving test.

Had some comfort food for dinner, Sausage Mash, garden peas and onion gravy.
