Desolation

This area in the centre of our village has been derelict for over a year waiting for development.  It will be partly residential, partly light industrial, but the process is taking a goodly amount of time; although it is stipulated in the consent, there is a certain amount of praying that it will be a well designed area after it is finished.

And we hope that it doesn't take too much longer: last year a large group of travellers stayed there for a couple of nights en route to a wedding.  There was a bit of a mess, I gather.

The Extra is a bit of a contrast.  The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group likes some of my roof photos for the NP, so I agreed to take some from the air.  I have embellished the image a little in Luminar 4.
