Quaker Lady Bluets
Some say these tiny woodland flowers are named that because the shape of them is similar to that of the hats once worn by women of the Quaker faith. Others say it is because the pale blue color of the flower is similar to the shade of fabric used making dresses worn by Quaker women. I like them because they remind me of a close friend who is a Jewish Quaker (each parents faith).
