Greenery
From January through March, when the Bellingham Farmers Market is closed, we have had a large bin of fresh organic vegetables and fruits (see extra) deposited at our door every two weeks by Dandelion Organic Delivery. It's a family-run business, and the owners source from local organic farmers as much as possible. There's a "menu" of what will be in the bin each time, but if you want to make changes, that's always an option, with several other choices to replace the items you don't want.
Needless to say, "social distancing" and "shelter in place" mandates have led to an increased demand for Dandelion's services! I'm grateful that they've been able to take on this new challenge.
The other greenery is today's main photo -- the new leaves on one of our climbing roses, beautifully accented in pink. Despite the worldwide distress caused by the novel coronavirus, Mother Nature generously bestows spring beauty as usual. I'm very grateful for that, too.
(I'm behind on your journals, but will catch up in the next few days.)
