A Beautiful Day

Went for an eight mile circular walk today from home through Grizedale Wood. It was a beautiful sunny morning and the snow was thick and crisp.

The thaw, however, was coming hard and fast and it is raining quite heavily this evening.

I suspect the several inches of snow that fell here overnight will be gone in no time at all.
