Before And After
Thank you all for your kind comments, stars and hearts.
Madhatter remarked that it is a privilege to live in such a fine building and indeed it is.
Now that we are in lockdown for another 11 weeks (at least) Pat and I really appreciate our home and garden.
We were inspired and guided to put in a lot of time, effort and money, to transform what was a building, abandoned for some 28 years.
Today’s extra shows the interior, as we found it on our first visit. The image is a scan of a film colour print.
The main photo was taken today. Quite a change.
There have been many highs and lows that have occurred on this journey.
Perhaps, I should write a book.
The second extra is a closer view of the thumbnail. It is a plaster sculpture of Mercury illuminated in the evening sun.
Originally from an estate house in Royal Deeside we discovered Mercury, somewhat forlorn, in an "Antiques and Collectables", Aboyne.
I think we paid £10.
Best Wishes and Good Health to Everyone as we continue our way together through this time.
