Warming up

After snow all day yesterday, a beautiful sunny morning - but would we be able to do parkrun? Tom the run director went out early, found some of the course unrunnable but some OK and the access roads fine - so he made up an alternative route using some of the usual one and some of the roads, and we all got a very enjoyable if hard run.
Only problem was he couldn't work out the exact distance at zero notice and the course ended up 250m short (and not as hilly as usual) - so some people, me included, would have ended up with fake pbs. So he reported the results with a minute added on to everybody's time so no silly pbs but anybody who wants to know their time can work it out if they know how to take away 1.

After that we had a walk on Kinnoull Hill - lots of people out, some walking, some sledging, some running, one biking.
Then shovelled snow in the church car park and came home knackered slightly in need of having our energy levels topped up.
