Crossing the Arctic Circle

Around 7.30am on Wednesday 3rd April 2019 I crossed the Arctic Circle, and I have the certificate to prove it. The Arctic Circle globe marks the exact position of this line of latitude. The very distinct island behind is Hestmann Island and legend has it that it was formed when a knight was turned to stone when he forgot the sunrise because of his intense love for a woman.
