Saxifrage ...
... Pink Heart.
Well named I feel. :-)
I headed to the garden for my Blip today. A Pulmonaria and a Helebore caught my eye first off and both offered decent images.
In the end however, I decided that this tiny Saxifrage, measuring no more than six millimetres across, was best in show today. The variety is Pink Heart.
It’s been in the same position in a stone basin with other alpines for three or four years now. To be honest, I considered it needed to be refreshed at the end of last season, but never got around to doing anything about it. Seeing it doing its best today I am quite pleased it was reprieved by my (usual) laziness.
