Water abstract

I walked down to Petersfield lake today, there were several people there.  No one smiled, no one said "Good afternoon", everyone avoided eye contact - weird, and I didn't see anyone I knew.   I know DawnAgain has commented on this since the Coronavirus outbreak...it is very strange.   No one is going to catch coronavirus through a smile!
