Clockword workings

Although I was able to advance the church clock at the weekend, somehow the quarterly chimes didn't move on with the clock. The mechanism dates to1893 but is very similar to the Smiths of Derby's first flat bed clock (1863), modelled on the system in the Elizabeth Tower /. Big Ben. What is particularly charming is that the company badge says 'Midland Steam Clock Works'.

All is working correctly now.
