Keeping it simple

Egg boxes, paint and some coloured paper kept these two busy for ages.
Anya also wrote a story about Red riding hood and a horse, she did a bit of Maths and reading and they both played in the garden making potions with sand, water, mud and grass (oops they pulled out some of Andrew’s precious lawn!)
Andrew struggled today after two nights of hardly any sleep. He obviously needed some ‘him’ time as he’s not used to just being in the house with two young children. Honestly we have it easy compared with some and I did make him aware of that. I sent him out in the garden to mess about with bits of wood, that seemed to do the trick. An early night and a good book should sort him out for tomorrow...
