The Boomtown Rats

To be honest, I was never a big fan, and much as I would like to tell you that I saw the band and partied with them after the gig; I didn't. I picked this autographed album up at a record  fair. It's an interesting cover, I think.
"What did you do in the great punk wars, father?" my daughter often asks.
"Well I got a short haircut, and donated my flared Wranglers to Oxfam. I saw Elvis Costello at the Maniqui in Falkirk, and The Clash at Coasters." She never looks that impressed. (Extra evidence, included.)
