Another Anemone

The cultivated variety this time.  I am pleased with the way they have spread from the few corms I planted a couple of years ago and love the way they open up as soon as the sun shines on them.

A lazy day enjoying the sun.

My dad had a lot of silly sayings and I quite like this one.  Has anyone else ever heard it?

"I thought I was behind before
but now I'm first at last"
