Tree, at the centre of learning: the OU campus at Milton Keynes. Always makes me smile. As does going to meetings in the Jennie Lee Building. Ah, those heady days when we felt the white heat of the technological revolution. It took a while to realise the servers were over-heating. But today was about a fun new module to teach to OU students about Linux, networking and robotics . I discovered that my Mindstorm robot is too up to date and I need to lay my hands on the older generation Lego RCX brick if I'm to exploit the software provided for students.
