Budding

Hepatica budding on my brother's yard. The first I've seen this year, but I heard they were there before. Obviously I haven't been able to find any myself during the previous days.

Today I walked all the way there (700 metres!) and back (a little shorter through a field), and yes, it was enough. Getting up is less painful before, but the surgical wound area is swollen and sore, perhaps more so than before. Otherwise pain is not too bad now.

In the extra a blackbird on the lawn through window. A moment before I took this Petteri walked behind it. They were less than two metres apart and both looked like not noticing each other!
