Textile challenge week 2

One of the textile groups is doing a challenge a week. This week it was renowned textile artist Cas Holmes & the theme was being reminded of home. My object is the rainbow arch at Lindisfarne Priory. I stitched a dried tea bag paper with a piece of cake as Mam & I drunk tea & eaten cake all over Northumberland. The flowers are freesias, Mam’s favourite & all drawn together by the cross.
