Ants Marching

A 2h walk in the Salmi recreation area's forests. This time we found out that many of the ant hills were bustling with activity, especially those well exposed to direct sunlight. This is just a minor capture of the action on one of those, and who knows how many ants are in action in the lower layers below the surface. I learned now when uploading this that a large ant hill or hive can contain more than a million ants, so this image may contain thousands of them.
