Morning Stroll

As I've now begun my marathon training, I needed to get out for a walk this morning. I had planned I'd sneak out first thing and do three miles before the house was awake. Unfortunately as I crept downstairs I found mum was already up. So with that plan out of the window we decided we'd take a stroll in the snow up past the Castle and see what we could see. We managed 1.75 miles which at this stage, and with the extra effort of walking through 6" of fresh snow, was enough.

After we'd shaken the snow from our boots we were out to town to continue packing up the shop. A lot of work down in the basement and a trip to the skip with bags of rubbish and rubble. They'll still have work to do but we're beginning to make an obvious dint in it.
