The Corona Diaries, day #20

16!
Our second lockdown birthday. Too many candles for just one cake but... how did we end up with a 16-year-old in the house?! As 16-year-olds go, he's not too bad though, I have to say!

I'm liking these more relaxed Saturdays - no taxiing kids around and trying to squeeze in the shopping in between. Throw in a good dose a warm spring sunshine and it was a pretty good day. 
I had do some work this morning to keep on top of the big job due next week, but then spent the afternoon in the garden, which is coming along nicely.
Then birthday apéritifs, dinner and cake. Another board game evening now. 
Yes, we miss the outside world, but days like these together are quite precious too.
