A good day. Lovely weather. Sorting out the garden - every year we make a huge canopy style tent and kit it out with old rugs, fairy lights and bits of furniture. Should be finished tomorrow, once we’ve finished fighting with the oversized tarpaulin.

Delighted Kier Starmer has won the labour leadership. Hope the party can find a way forward now after years of waste.
