Rotting wood

John went to work and the rest of us had a slow start. The girls enjoyed their online ballet class and insisted I joined in again.

We then had a zoom video call with about 20 others from preschool including most of the staff. It was lovely and the children loved seeing their friends. We really do have a wonderful team of staff at the girls preschool, I miss them a lot.

John came home and I popped out to collect a pescription for my neighbour. I have been quite sheltered these last 2 weeks with John doing the shopping etc on his way home from work and so it was a bit of a shock for me to see for myself the people queuing to get in the supermarket with tape on the floor marking 2m apart. I stood in the adjacent queue for the pharmacy with them letting us in on a one in one out basis. The pharmacist had a full face visor on and the dispenser a surgical mask. It felt strange and I didn't like it.

Came home and we spent the afternoon in the garden, still scraping stones back in preparation for grass seed. We made good progress today and enjoyed the sunshine.
