Day 12 – Jackdaw

Today is my birthday and I like to go up a hill if possible. In these somewhat constricted times choice was somewhat limited, but we did walk to Easter Craiglockhart Hill, where we had reasonable views and it was quite quiet. At the top there were a number of Jackdaws rootling through the grass and as they are corvids a blip of one seemed an appropriate one. We did a little shopping in an M & S Food store on the way home with no hassle at all, but did want to pop into Sainsbury’s Murrayfield to try and get some yeast. However a queue that stretched around the car park put paid to that idea, so we’ll try at a future time.
