Re-listening to the Bowery Electric tune I posted yesterday I couldn't put my finger on who the vocalist reminded me of. Then it clicked, Madder Rose. A band who's 'Bring it on Down' LP never left my turntable for weeks after it's release. A little bit of melancholy, a little bit post-grunge and a wee bit of a jangle. Relistening it's pretty much The Breeders crossed with Mazzy Star but still enjoyable all the same.
