The Day of the Triffids

Brrrrr.. The Bossess joined The Boss and ME this morning and encountered this on the Wellington waterfront. 
Scary but it didn't look like it was getting out of the water any time soon.
There were less folk about today which is a good sign that everyone has got the message. There was no spike in the numbers tested positive either in spite of the numbers being tested  increasing considerably and we still only have one death. 
Who remembers “The Day of the Triffids? From 1962....
The Boss does and there was he recalls a TV series some time later in 1981 from the BBC  that the Bossess remembers too. I wonder if it is still around to view?
I will need to get The Boss to turn his Pak around so I cant see it.....
