Ready Steady Veg

Veg all prepared and ready for tonight’s dinner. 
 
Well actually the bowl of carrots is a rescue mission.   Pack of fresh carrots delivered yesterday.  Went to prepare some for tonight when I discovered they were well past their best, some starting to decay from the bottom up.  So top and tail the lot and soak in very salty water before drying and storage.  I may freeze some.
 
Not much point in sending them back under the current lockdown and delivery regime.
