January Daily Challenge - Together

Day 26 of Neet's January daily challenge - Together: There are many definitions for together. One is: In or into a single group, mass, or place. Take a photo of together, whichever definition you'd like to use.

I had a couple of options today for something to do with together.

I spent the afternoon together with my son, taking him shopping to buy him some new clothes. It was 2 blokes shopping (and even worse - clothes shopping), so having walked the length of the shopping mall I had to explain to him that he needed to decide which shops to go in since we were out shopping for his clothes. I then had to "suggest" the first store, got in there, asked him his size - he had no idea! Exit the store and off he went to the gents so he could look at the labels in the clothes he had on!

Successful visits to 3 shops (and 2 unsuccessful ones) later and we headed to the car. we had been 1 hour 2 minutes - if it hadn't been for the visit to the gents to find his size we would have maintained my record of never being in town for as long as an hour when shopping.

A visit to a different store to get his birthday present and home.

No real photo opportunities with him (he hates having his photo taken, and I had to be on my best behaviour). Off home for dinner, son on laptop so although able to take a picture, unable to process and upload until after taking him home.

I had an alternative, and it seems to have been in line with many of your thoughts, a food blip.

Tomorrow's dinner will be a home made chicken and mushroom pie, here's part of the filling being prepared, chicken breast sliced into "man-sized" chunks and sliced mushrooms, together, and tomorrow they will be together in a white sauce, under a pastry lid in the oven cooking, ready to be eaten.
