Hairy
At about this time of year I seem to get this urge to try to photograph bees in flight and, being me, I want it big and beautiful, and not some small, blurry, blob, looking like an addition to a flower photo. Unfortunately that was totally and utterly beyond me, but I had a fun time in the garden swearing my head off at the damn things as they flitted quickly from bloom to bloom. Hopefully I'll get a slower, less frenetic variety tomorrow and I'll be able to keep up with them! So, the best I could manage today was a hairy bee drinking from a hairy plant. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy macro photography, especially wee beasties!
