Warmer
The warm weather finally reached us today, but the Estate was very quiet when I went out with Django this evening. Although I'd hoped that the stonework of the spring would be sunlit, I still felt that there was the atmosphere of shady Greek grove. Maybe I should get out more...
I also saw my first butterfly of the summer which, if you know you Moomins, is a portent of the quality of the summer to come, and the more golden the better. This one was a peacock, which is a little dark, but has its spectacular moments! So it'll be a typical Scottish summer!
I was supposed to head out for a run in the Pentlands today, but last night I stubbed my middle toe and it's rather too sore to run today. Hence it'll be a few more days...
