Undoing the messy work

I started this 4 years ago when I wasn't well, and the work is, well, not great - uneven and plain shoddy. So I spent a couple of hours with a seam ripper carefully cutting the yarn whilst being careful not to cut the fabric (something I have learnt from experience).

I gave up at this point, and decided to start again from the other end.
