A morning walk with eco mum and the dogs.

I headed to allotment for tattie planting.

Then to new apiary for first hive inspection.

3 out of 4 as expected one week and took some steps to save. Mite treatment in hives.

Out to the apiary out west.

Checked all the hives. One died out. Not much brood or eggs but these are on marginal ground and are at least 4 weeks behind city apiaries. They were calm and pollen coming in so there maybe hope.

Back home and rest.

(Cov19 beekeeping guidelines allows me to visit hives as long as on my own and no social interaction with humans)
