Leaf Warbler

A beautiful day. We spent most of it butterfly hunting. I finally spotted my first male orange tip of 2020 flying with one of the many peacocks in Butterfly Alley. Ollie dog and I sat in the shadow of the southerly boiler house in a blackthorn blossom bower. I heard a willow warbler singing but didn't spot it. This chiffchaff was in very good voice. Willow warblers look very similar but have light legs and longer wings.
