Autumn Leaf 4
I am convinced that the best way to ruin both colour and detail in a digital image is to overcook it, by pushing brightness too high. So I have learned to underexpose things like this and leave them just about "as shot". I did run a light "Topaz Detail" routine but that's about it. This pic responds rewardingly to LARGE, I think.
COVID-19 might have ruined our lifestyle and will continue to do so for months but it is hard to stay depressed when confronted with this morning's weather. The light was magnificent. What's more, although none of us could get too close, so many of the single walkers I came across seemed pleased to be able to exchange just a few words of small talk as we passed. I am convinced that once we reach the fabled "other side", certain aspects of society may have changed forever ... and not all for the worse.
