Has it only been two weeks?

It’s the weekend but who knew? The days are all merging together. The weather has been glorious again today and we did lots of gardening. I potted up all my geraniums and did some weeding and the garden has never looked better this early in the season.

I spoke to my daughter and she had been out for a walk but worried that it was so busy in Battersea Park the lockdown would be extended and exercise banned. Her partner went out for a bike ride ( he loves to exercise) but got knocked off his bike. Came home with grazes and bruises and full of anger that the car didn’t stop! I don’t think her response was sympathetic as he had been out for more than his permitted hour. Although it was probably shock and worrying that made her react the way she did.

We are doing ok but just thinking of this thing one day at a time. Email from
the Chairman who is BIG cheese in NHS thinks we are in for a very long haul, so it’s important that we take it slowly, stay well, and don’t go out for long bike rides!
